Last year we launched the Gramophone Hall of Fame, honouring the people - artists, producers and record executives – who, through their talent, innovation and dedication, changed the shape of, and forever enriched, the history of classical music recording.
We welcomed 50 names last year, and in this, our 90th year, we'd like you to help us choose a further 50 entrants. From the list we've drawn up, simply nominate a maximum of ten people you think should be honoured.
Over the next few weeks Gramophone critics and members of the editorial team will be writing blogs championing those nominees that they feel most deserve a place in this year’s Hall of Fame - beginning with Peter Quantrill, who makes his case for Kirill Kondrashin.
The closing date for voting is March 20, 2013. Click here to have your say.
And don't forget, you can still read articles and reviews of the key recordings of all the current members of the Gramophone Hall of Fame, from Karajan and Bernstein to Callas and Du Pré. Visit our Hall of Fame pages for full details.
